Admissions

Whether you are joining us straight from school or returning for a graduate degree, CUST admissions are designed to be clear, fair and merit-based.

Undergraduate admission

Applicants should hold a recognised secondary qualification with strong results in mathematics and science. Selection considers academic record, a personal statement, and where relevant a portfolio or aptitude assessment.

  • Completed secondary school certificate or equivalent
  • Demonstrated proficiency in mathematics and at least one science subject
  • English language proficiency for international applicants
  • Personal statement and one academic reference

Graduate admission

Master’s and doctoral applicants require a relevant undergraduate degree (typically upper second class or above) and, for research degrees, a research proposal and prospective supervisor.

Tuition & funding

CUST is committed to keeping a technological education accessible. Need-based bursaries, merit scholarships and graduate research stipends are available. Indicative annual tuition and current fee schedules are published in the applicant portal each cycle.

How to apply

All applications are submitted through the CUST applicant portal. Create an account, complete the online form, upload your documents, and track your decision online. You will use your CUST single sign-on credentials throughout your studies.
